Buddy will sing in the tenor section with the Chapel Singers choral ensemble on the beautiful anthem "A Clean Heart" at the church's annual Ash Wednesday service.

You are invited.  

Sunday March 13th at 8:25am, 9:45am and 11:05am In the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church in Cary, NC Buddy will sing lead with The Methodaires Gospel Quartet on the old Southern Gospel standard, "Just A Little Talk With Jesus."  The quartet will sing at all 3 Sunday morning traditional worship services.
You are invited.

Ask about the Methodaires' wonderful new 17-song CD, "Gospel Revival." 
Saturday March 19th from 6:00pm 'til 10:00pm.  The Chatham Street Cafe, located at 140 East Chatham Street in Cary NC, between Academy and Walker Streets. For more info on the Cafe & menu (and to make a *reservation) go to:http://www.chathamstreetcafe.com  or call 919-380-1193.
*Youll need a reservation to be in the "music" side of the restaurant with Buddy.
 Please come and support Buddy in his eighth performance at The Chatham Street Cafe.  He will set up his PA system, play his Martin HD-28VR acoustic guitar, and sing rock, folk, and pop93oldies from the 50s and 60s - and some even-more-recent tunes!  Come and sing along.

The Cafe is a pleasant & intimate setting for acoustic music.
Friday April 1st from 7:00pm 'til 9:00pm Nashville United Methodist Church, 209 East Washington Street, Nashville NC Buddy will provide music for the church's quarterly "Walk to Emmaus" satellite gathering.  There will be a number of group songs and a couple of "specials."  
All are invited - whether you've been on the "Walk to Emmaus" or not.
Saturday April 2nd  C.A. Dillon Youth Development Center in Butner, NC Buddy will provide music for a reunion of all the residents of the Center who have attended the "Kairos Torch" event in past years.  For more info about the amazing "Kairos Torch" youthful offender program, go to http://kairosnc.org/html/kairos_torch.html
Sunday April 3rd at 8:25am, 9:45am and 11:05am In the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church in Cary, NC Buddy will sing in the tenor section with the Chapel Singers choral ensemble as they present the anthem "Come Walk Beside Still Waters" in all 3 traditional morning worship services.

 Monday morning April 4th at 11:30 The fellowship hall of First United Methodist Church in Cary, NC.  I'll be providing music for a "Showers of Joy" luncheon for the church's JOY ("Just Older Youth") group.  Call the church office at 919-467-1861 for information.
 Friday eve April 8th at 6:15 & 7:30pm The games are located at Adams Elementary School's ballfield on Towne Blvd. in Cary, NC Buddy will sing the National Anthem for two baseball games for the "Miracle League of the Triangle. "Miracle League is a baseball league for special-needs kids (go to http://www.miracleleagueofthetriangle.com/ for photos and a short video). All are welcome - come have your heart warmed by these amazing kids!
Sunday evening April 10th Meymandi Concert Hall in Raleigh NC. I'll be singing in the tenor section of a 200-member combined choir (5 churches) for the premier public performance of nationally-known composer Pepper Choplin's Lenten composition, "Come Walk With Me."  Pepper Choplin will be the conductor.

The Triangle Brass Band will be performing as well during this event.

Contact Meymandi Concert Hall for ticket information.  All are invited!  This will be an awesome sound and spiritual experience.

Friday May 6th at 6:30pm Greenwood Forest Baptist Church in Cary NC Buddy will sing in the tenor section with the Chapel Singers choral ensemble for the church's annual Seniors dinner.
Saturday May 7th at 12:45pm and 1:45pm At the "Miracle League of the Triangle" rubberized baseball field at Adams Elementary School, 805 Cary Towne Boulevard in Cary, NC Buddy will sing the "National Anthem" before both games.
(Note: I'm gonna try a full-voice high "C" on "the land of the free" part - come out and hear that potentially risky effort!).

Buddy will also lead the crowd & teams in singing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" during the 2nd inning stretch at both games.

The "Miracle League" is an amazing nonprofit organization, providing special-needs kids with the opportunity to play on a real baseball team.  All are welcome - come have your heart warmed by these amazing kids!

Friday May 13th at 7:00pm In the chapel of Mount Sylvan United Methodist Church in Durham, NC Buddy will provide musical leadership for group singing, and 2 special songs, for a Heart of Carolina Emmaus Community "satellite" Gathering in Wake Forest. There will be lots of praise music, a “Fourth Day” message, Holy Communion, and -  snacks!

Everyone is welcome – you don’t need to have already gone on a Walk to Emmaus to attend.
Come find out more about the Walk to Emmaus, a 72-hour spiritual event that will last for the rest of your life.
Saturday evening May 14th from 7:30pm 'til 9:30pm The "Sacred Grounds" coffeehouse, located at St. Paul's United Methodist Church at 2700 N. Roxboro Street in Durham, NC (go to http://sacredgroundscoffeehouse.org/html/calendar.html for more info) Buddy will perform a selection of sacred and secular songs.. You'll love the informal atmosphere of Sacred Grounds (and the snacks & coffee!).
Here's the mission: The mission of Sacred Grounds is to reach out to the community and provide a safe, clean, peaceful atmosphere for people to come and enjoy a good cup of coffee, music, games and fun. All concerts, drinks and desserts are by donation.  NO one will be turned away from our doors so please come and enjoy the music and fellowship.
Sunday May 15th at 8:25am, 9:45am and 11:05am In the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church in Cary, NC Buddy will provide guitar accompaniment for several songs for the children's choirs for "Children's Sunday" at all 3 traditional morning services.
Conductor is Patti Cook.  Buddy and Patti may perform a duet for the kids!

Friday May 20th at 7:00pm In the chapel of Wake Forest United Methodist Church in Wake Forest, NC Buddy will provide musical leadership for group singing, and 2 special songs, for the Heart of Carolina Emmaus Community’s monthly "satellite" Gathering in Wake Forest. There will be lots of praise music, a “Fourth Day” message, Holy Communion, and...(wait for it...)...
...snacks!

Sunday May 22nd at 12:30pm In the courtyard of the Templeton Building on Waldo Street at First United Methodist Church in Cary, NC Buddy will sing lead (and sometimes alto or tenor) in an energetic outdoor presentation of Southern Gospel music with the Methodaires Gospel Quartet .

Sunday evening May 22nd at 7:00pm Fairmont United Methodist Church on Clark Ave. in Raleigh, near NC State University.
Fairmont UMC is located at 2501 Clark Avenue, just two blocks off Hillsboro, and a couple of blocks past Cameron Village and Oberlin Road when coming from Cary on Clark Avenue. Call the church office at 919-832-3316 for more info.
You're invited to "SNL!" (Sunday Night Live!) at . Buddy will be this week’s guest musician, and will perform 3 songs with acoustic guitar. The pastor, Steve Hickle, will play his trumpet, and there are free snacks in the narthex before the service!

Buddy will sing lead (and sometimes alto or tenor) with the Methodaires Gospel Quartet in a Southern Gospel music program for the residents of the Center.
Thursday June 16th at 11:30am At the Buehler Picnic Shelter in the Town of Cary's Fred Bond Park (off High House Road) in Cary, NC. Buddy will provide a 30-minute music program for the "Just Older Youth" (JOY) group from First United Methodist Church in Cary.

Thursday August 11th from 6:00pm 'til 9:00pm.

Sunday Morning August 28th at 8:25am, 9:45am, and 11:05am. In the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church, Cary, at 117 S. Academy Street in Cary NC. Buddy will sing lead on a special song with the Methodaires Gospel Quartet at all 3 morning services.  It's the annual "Great Day of Singing" at FUMCC, so there will be lots of sacred music of many different styles by many different groups.  (It's a day of less talking, and more music!)

Please come and support Buddy in his 11th performance at The Chatham Street Cafe.  He will sing lots of "oldies" (50's & 60's rock, folk, pop, love songs, and a little blues).  Come and sing along.
There are some songs for little kids too, so bring them on!

The Cafe owner, Gayla Bonke, is a real chef who moved to Cary from New York.  Her entrees and soups are original and fresh - you'll like them.
The desserts are awesome too!
Sunday Morning September 4th at 11:00am In the sanctuary of Coats United Methodist Church, at 288 East South Street in Coats, NC. Buddy will provide several special songs and congregational songs for the regular 11:00 Sunday morning worship service.  The morning's theme is "Simply Christian - Living by the Spirit."  The scripture is Romans 8:6-17.
The new pastor at Coats UMC is Rev. Rick Wilkerson, formerly the Youth Pastor at First United Methodist in Cary, also the former Senior Pastor at Genesis United Methodist in Cary.
Wednesday Evening September 14th at 6:40pm In the sanctuary of  Lemon Springs United Methodist Church, located at 7225 Lemon Springs Road in Sanford NC. >Buddy will provide the message during the sermon time in the Wednesday evening worship service, including twenty-five minutes of sacred music and spoken word.  Song styles will include Praise songs, Southern Gospel, Jamaican, and a couple of original songs. There will also be 20 minutes of group singing at 6:40 before the 7:00 service.  
The pastor at Lemon Springs UMC is Roberta Byram.  Buddy has served on several Walk to Emmaus teams and events with Roberta.
Friday Evening September 30th @ 6:15pm, 7:15pm and 8:15pm Come and see one of 3 special baseball games on the "Miracle League of the Triangle" rubberized baseball field at Adams Elementary School, 805 Cary Towne Blvd. in Cary,NC (just off I-40 near Cary exit #291). Buddy will sing the National Anthem (with acoustic guitar) before all 3 one-hour "Miracle League" baseball games.  He'll be attempting to sing a full-voice high "C" on "o'er the land of the free" all three times - a risky move!
Invest an hour and come out to see these special youth having the time of their lives, and succeeding at baseball!

Saturday Afternoon October 1st @ 4:00pm A brass band concert in the sanctuary of Saint Francis United Methodist Church at 2965 Kildaire Farm Road in Cary NC.  Take Kildaire Farm Road south from Cary, and the church is on the left just a few tenths of a mile up the hill past Hemlock Bluffs Park. Buddy will play in the euphonium section of the Saint Francis Brass Band for a free fundraiser concert benefiting the Wake Interfaith Hospitality Network, an organization providing temporary/transitional housing for working homeless families.

Sunday Morning October 2nd @ 10:00am In the sanctuary of the Mar Mac Friends Church at 1954 Old Grantham Road in Goldsboro, NC. Buddy will provide the message through 40 minutes of word and song during the regular Sunday morning worship service.

The pastor of the Mar Mac Friends Church is Howard Seymour.
