Friday January 15th, 11:00am First Baptist Church in downtown Raleigh. 99 North Salisbury Street, at the intersection of Salisbury and Edenton, across Salisbury St. from the State Capitol Building. Buddy will set up his PA system and join excellent keyboard player Ron Williams in providing 55 minutes of “gathering music” for the annual State Employees’ Martin Luther King Celebration Service.  Buddy will also sing in the tenor section with the MLK Choir during the noon service. This is a rockin’ choir – you will enjoy the music! The service is open to the public – you are invited. Governor Beverly Perdue will attend, and will introduce the featured speaker.

Sunday February 21st 2010, at the 11:00am worship service. Efland United Methodist Church, Efland, NC (3418 Hwy. 70 West)   Directions: From Cary or Raleigh take I-40 West. Take Exit 160 to the right toward Efland. At the end of the long ramp, turn right onto Mt. Willing Road (State Road 1120).  The road name is not marked. Go .3 miles to the dead end and turn right onto Forrest Avenue. Go about 300 feet and turn left on Brookhollow Road. Go about 0.1 miles and the church will be on the right.  Parking is available by the fellowship hall on the left.  Buddy will provide about 40 minutes of participatory praise music (prelude, offertory, and during the usual sermon time). The Pastor is Cindy Lister.  All are welcome.

Friday March 5th, 6:00pm ‘til 8:30pm “First Friday” at the Raleigh City Museum, located in the historic Briggs Hardware Building at 220 Fayetteville Street in Raleigh, N.C. 27601. [MAP] This museum collects, preserves, and interprets the history of the city of Raleigh. Admission is free and no tickets are required. Lebanon United Methodist Church in Mebane, NC

Directions to Lebanon UMC:  Take I-40 west from Raleigh.  Just past the I-40 & I-85 merge, take exit #160 (Efland Exit).  At the end of the (long!) exit ramp, turn right onto Mt. Whilling Rd. (road name not marked).  You'll cross some RRtrax and come to a dead end/stop sign.  Turn left there onto Efland Cedar Grove Road (also not marked).  Efland Cedar Grove Road curves around to the right to a stoplight.  Go through the stoplight (stop if it’s red!) and continue 1.7 miles to a crossroads.  Turn left at the crossroads onto Lebanon Church Road.  In 2.4 miles you'll go past Daniels Farm Road; keep going straight 0.2 miles, and you'll see the church on the right.

Buddy will provide special music for both the 9:00am contemporary worship service and the 11:00am traditional worship service.

At both services he will debut his new song “The Old Man and the Potter’s Wheel,” based on Jeremiah 18:1-6.

Special guest preacher will be Cely Chicurel.  She will actually make a clay pot on her potter’s wheel while she brings the message from Jeremiah 18:1-6!

Monday May 3rd at 6:45pm The Kiwanis Picnic Shelter in Bond Park (off High House Road) in Cary, NC

Buddy will provide 15 minutes of music during the end-of-year picnic for the “Mighty Mondays Kids” and their families.

“Mighty Mondays” is a neighborhood after-school outreach program of First United Methodist Church in Cary.

Friday May 21st  thru Sunday May 23rd C.A. Dillon Youth Development Center in Butner NC Buddy will be the music leader serving on a multi-denominational team putting on the KAIROS Torch event inside the C.A. Dillon facility. KAIROS Torch is a worldwide spiritual growth program, ministering specifically to teenagers in prisons, youth detention centers, and youth development centers.  KAIROS Torch is similar in content to the 72-hour Walk to Emmaus, Via de Christo, Tres Dias, Hesed, and Cursillo weekends. Friday June 11th, 7:00~8:30pm Fellowship Hall of Resurrection Lutheran Church, 100 Lochmere Drive, Cary, NC Buddy will set up his PA system and provide live guitar & vocal music for the church’s monthly coffeehouse.  We’ll all share uplifting & fun sacred and secular songs - for all to sing!. You are invited.
Saturday June 12th, 6:00pm until 9:30pm. Fellowship Hall of First United Methodist Church in Cary NC (Parking lot is at corner of Waldo and Walker Streets) Buddy will provide 6 or 7 lively secular songs during the annual fundraising event for the Prison MATCH program (Mothers And Their CHildren).   MATCH provides volunteer supervision, food and toys for in-prison visits for incarcerated mothers and their children at Women’s Prison in Raleigh NC. Sunday August 8th at 8:25am, 9:45am and 11:05am In the Sanctuary of First United Methodist Church, Cary, NC, at 117 South Academy Street   Buddy will play the instrumental prelude ["Prince of Denmark's March" (aka "Trumpet Voluntary")  by Jeremiah Clarke] on the euphonium, accompanied by FUMC’s superb organ and piano player, Ms. Jodi Adams. Buddy will also sing a recent composition, "The Old Man at the Potter's Wheel" based on Jeremiah 18:1-4, at the anthem spot.  He'll accompany himself on the Martin HD-28VR acoustic guitar. Both songs will be performed at all three regular morning worship services in the sanctuary.
Monday August 23rd through Wednesday August 25th Embassy Suites Hotel & Conference Center at the Kingston Plantation Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC  Buddy will provide special music and leadership for group singing in the daily worship services for the 3-day “2010 Convocation on the Rural Church.”  The event is sponsored by Duke Divinity School and The Duke Endowment. The Convocation will provide worship opportunities, plenary sessions and workshops for over 120 pastors and leaders of rural churches in North Carolina.
Friday August 20th at 7:00pm Wake Forest United Methodist Church, Wake Forest NC  Buddy will provide musical leadership for group singing and 2 special songs for the Heart of Carolina Emmaus Community’s monthly "satellite" Gathering in Wake Forest. There will be lots of music, a “Fourth Day” message, Holy Communion, and...(wait for it...)...snacks!  Everyone is welcome – you don’t need to have already gone on a Walk to Emmaus to attend!  Come find out more about the Walk to Emmaus, a 3-day spiritual event that will last for the rest of your life (really)!
Sunday August 29th at 8:25am, 9:45am and 11:05am

In the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church in Cary NC, at 117 South Academy Street.  There's lots of easy parking in the church's parking lot at the intersection of Waldo and Walker streets, 1 block off Chatham Street.

This Sunday is all music!  It's the church's annual "Great Day of Singing."

Buddy will sing his arrangement of a special medley of 3 songs about "light," with guitar. He'll also sing with the Methodaires Gospel Quartet, the old Southern Gospel favorite, “Just a Little Talk With Jesus.”

Both songs will be sung at all 3 regular Sunday morning services.   

Wednesday September 8th @ 10:00am In the auditorium of the Cary Senior Center on Maury O'Dell Drive in Cary NC, across High House Road from Genesis United Methodist Church. Buddy will set up his PA system and sing a 40-minute concert of both sacred and secular tunes for the Town of Cary XYZ Club.
Saturday September 11th at 5:30pm In the log cabin at the intersection of Waldo & Walker Streets, First United Methodist Church, Cary Buddy will set up his P.A. and provide a 30-minute sacred concert of guitar and vocal music (in the sermon spot) for the weekly informal 5:30 Saturday worship service. All are welcome.  Come as you are - it's in a log cabin!

Fri. September 24th, 7:00-9:00pm Good Shepherd Lutheran Church fellowship hall, 7000 Creedmoor Road, Raleigh, NC

Buddy will provide 2 hours of guitar & vocal music (a selection of secular and sacred songs) for the church's monthly coffeehouse. All are welcome. Special guests will be over 100 of the Triangle area's developmentally challenged citizens and their caretakers.
You will enjoy seeing these special folks enjoying the music and each other at this wonderful event! 

Saturday September 25th, 12:30pm  Starting at Asbury United Methodist Church , 806 Clarendon St., Durham.   Then moving to Duke University for the Army football game. Buddy will provide music for the North Carolina Conference of United Methodist Men's 6th annual "Duke Day". The program will kick off at 12:30pm, featuring a message by Chad Goss, former University of Alabama starting wide receiver.  Youth from several NC Methodist Children's Homes will be special guests for the day.   After the program, the group will adjourn to the Duke-Army football game.   Excerpt From the UMM web site: “Share the Game, Share your Faith,” is a community outreach event sponsored by the NC Conference United Methodist Men during the Duke vs. Army football game in Durham on Sept. 25. Local UMM units are encouraged to reach out to local youth groups to sponsor their participation in the event. The cost is $20 per person and includes the pre-game event, lunch, and game ticket. Saturday, October 16th, 11:00am-1:00pm Ritter Park in Cary, NC Buddy will set up his PA system in the park's large picnic shelter and provide 2 hours of acoustic guitar and vocal music for the Fonville-Morisey/Lochmere Realty Group’s “Fall Festival” client appreciation event.  (Attendance for this one is by invitation.)
Sunday October 17th at 9:00am & 11:00am Lebanon United Methodist Church in Mebane, NC

Buddy will provide a 30-minute Praise & Worship concert during the 9:00 contemporary worship service, and will sing 5 "specials" during the 11:00 traditional worship service.

Monday October 18th from 1:45pm 'til 3:00pm  NC State Fairgrounds  for the 2010 State Fair

Buddy will sing lead (and sometimes tenor & alto) with the Methodaires Gospel Quartet at the NC State Fair in Raleigh. This 75-minute Southern Gospel Music concert will be held outdoors beside the "little white church," next to the Village of Yesteryear (Holshouser Building).  The Methodaires are from First United Methodist Church in Cary.

Buddy sang the alto part on "Sweet Sweet = Spirit" with The Methodaires Gospel Quartet in an annual worship = service for the installation of the 2011 board of directors for the = Christian Community in Action organization. =   

Monday December 6th at = 6:00pm In the fellowship hall at First United Methodist Church = in Cary, NC Buddy led Christmas songs for the Christmas = celebration dinner for the parents and kids in the "Mighty Mondays = Kids" program at First United Methodist Church in Cary.
It is = reported that a red clown nose and reindeer antlers were = involved.
Thursday December 9th at = 6:30pm North Carolina Correctional institute for Women, Raleigh = NC Buddy took his PA system inside Women's Prison, and provided = a 40-minute concert for 60 inmates and staff for the annual = Disciple Bible Study Christmas dinner.
The teaching of the = 34-week Disciple Bible Study is sponsored by Disciple Bible = Outreach Ministries, and takes place in 74 NC prisons each year. =  Lives are being transformed in prisons by Christ through this = study.

Saturday December = 11th at 8:30am Westover United Methodist Church in Raleigh, = NC Buddy provided a 35-minute music program for the annual = volunteer appreciation banquet sponsored by the United Methodist Men at = Westover UMC.
Sunday December 12th at 8:25am, 9:45am and = 11:05am In the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church, Cary = NC Buddy and Bob Briggs sang a duet (arranged by Bob) for the = beautiful Christmas song, "Mary, Did You Know?" at FUMC's 3 traditional = morning worship services.  Bob played mandolin and Buddy played = acoustic guitar.
(Bob is the excellent mandolin player on some of the = songs on Buddy's CD, "Step Out on the = Water".)
Tuesday = December 14th at 5:30pm Glenaire Retirement Center, Cary = NC Buddy led the group in singing Christmas songs, and performed = 2 "specials" for First United Methodist Church's Philathea Sunday = School Class annual Christmas = dinner.
Sunday December 19th at 8:25am, 9:45am and = 11:05am In the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church, Cary = NC Buddy sang in the tenor section and in the Chapel Singers = ensemble for this year's Lessons and Carols services in the 3 = traditional morning worship services.
The accompanists included = several excellent brass, woodwind, and percussion players, as well as = several members of the North Carolina Symphony string = section.
